Omni-ID have been at the forefront of RFID development and deployment since our inception in 2007. Alongside our work to continually push the boundaries and scope of RFID technology we are also developing an innovative, fast evolving suite of IoT and IIoT devices that will supercharge the scope of tracking, monitoring, sensing and data gathering.

We have worked closely with TSL, Inframarker and Impinj by developing RFID tags as part of underground asset tracking solutions for a number of years.

Matt Behroozi is our Head of Product Engineering, working alongside of CEO, Operations and Finance teams at Omni-ID’s Center for Research and Development, located in Farnham, UK. Matt has worked in the industry for more than 10 years and is delighted to be joining the panel discussion at this event.
Eric Berkowitz
Geo.Works International, Project Manager
Eric Berkowitz joined GEO.works International and Utility Mapping Services in September 2016 after serving over 25 years in the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Commissioned Officer Corps (NOAA Corps).
Following graduation from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Eric joined the NOAA Corps where he focused on hydrographic surveying, GIS systems and project management.
Upon joining the GEO.works team Eric has leveraged his surveying, project management, data management and geospatial skills to support GEO.works’ efforts to develop a more data-centric approach to Subsurface Utility Engineering, 3D utility data collection and data management.
Brett Green
IC National Sales Manager
Brett Green is an IC National Sales Manager at Impinj, where he is responsible for embedded products including Indy reader chips, modules and packaged tags. Prior to Impinj, Brett held senior technical services positions with Invengo Technology, RR Donnelley and Intermec Technologies. He has handled Technical Sales in the wireless networking and data collection industry including 802.11 wireless networks, Windows Mobile & Windows CE handheld devices, RFID, barcode printers and barcode scanners, and has been responsible for both direct and channel sales. Brett has a BS in Marketing from Miami University.
Steve Davies
Global Trainer, Leica Geosystems Detection Solutions
Steve is part of the Product Management Team for Leica -Geosystems detection solutions team and draws on 30 years’ experience within the utility detection industry. In his current role as Global Trainer for detection tools, Steve leverages his expertise with EML and GPR technologies to train on products, share knowledge, techniques and support customers globally. He also enjoys supporting internal development teams with practical application knowledge, helping to test and enhance new solutions, as well as conducting educational webinars for broader audiences.
Eddie Gaytan

Project Delivery Manager
Eddie has over 25 years of experience in managing all aspects of Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) services including planning, coordination, field operations, project management, safety and quality control. Eddie has extensive knowledge of SUE geophysical methods and technologies, including ground penetrating radar, pipe and cable locating equipment and vacuum excavation systems.
Radek Grabowski
National SUE Production Manager
Radek has over 23 years of Geospatial and Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) experience. It includes managing SUE work on major highway projects as well as urban and local roadways, SUE contract management, both public and private sectors, utility asset data collection and management, plans preparation, design surveys and survey calculations related to route surveys. Radek has extensive knowledge in utility coordination and preparation of utility location surveys, including 3D modelling of utilities and utility conflict analysis. He is proficient in the use of computer-automated drafting (MicroStation, AutoCAD), GIS database management and global positioning systems.
Mike Gyde
Chief Revenue Officer
Mike brings over 25 years of aerospace product development experience ranging from
software/systems, Business Development, Sales, and business leadership to the CompassData team. His drive for combining the accurate CompassData geospatial product suite (including imagery, ortho-processing, ground control) and the needs within the aerospace market place has resulted in FAA DO-200A certified product offerings including qualified tools and DO-200A certified products. With a primary goal of growing the CompassData business, Mike’s customer facing experience continues to result in an increase in customer satisfaction utilizing the highly accurate CompassData products and detailed oriented services team. Ongoing cooperation with the leadership team, the team continues to grow through innovation, new technologies, customized solutions, and a growing base of satisfied customers.
Brant Howard
Co-Founder and Director
Brant is Founder and Director of CompassData Inc. a GIS mapping, surveying and data provider for the Drone, Aerial and Satellite Remote Sensing Community since 1994. CompassDrone is a division of CompassData. Mr. Howard utilizes his 40 years of experience in contract engineering, technical sales, marketing and management to lead CompassData as an international provider of photo-identifiable ground control for GIS and remote sensing applications. He has been an innovator in providing ground control as off-the-shelf content to photogrammetry professionals with consistent delivery of accurate control data in a timely response. Mr. Howard has Undergraduate and Master’s Degrees in Geology from Indiana University. His experience includes the U.S. Geological Survey; Camp, Dresser & McKee Inc., entrepreneur endeavors in the Remote Sensing, GPS and the electronic technology professions. Mr. Howard holds Patents in Geospatial and Mobile Resource Management technology. He has been an adjunct faculty member at the University of Denver, made numerous presentations at seminars and conferences worldwide. Mr. Howard has authored articles in technical journals relating to Geology, GIS, remote Sensing and Mobile Resource Management.

Matt King has worked for the Montana Department of Transportation for over 13 years. He graduated from Montana State University in 1993. For the last 8 years Mr. King has worked in the Right of Way Utilities section first starting out as a Utility Agent then moving up to his present position as Utility Construction Supervisor.

Gavin Schrock, PLS is a surveyor, technology writer, editor of the geomatics sciences publication xyHt magazine, and operator of a cooperative GNSS network (RTN). He has worked in surveying, mapping, data management, GNSS, and GIS for more than three decades in the civil, utility, defense, and mapping disciplines. He has published in these fields and has taught these subjects at local, state, national, and international conferences.

Whether working for a plethora of different types of private consulting firms collecting, analyzing, and displaying geographic data or working as an academic, researching and contributing to the corpus of educational knowledge, my passion in life is geography. As an energetic and enthusiastic public speaker, teacher, and thought leader I have enjoyed sharing my successes with others and seeing them flourish. Specifically my interests in the geospatial fields include the geography of behavior, sustainable and resilient geodesign, geographic science pedagogy (especially online education), and geospatial technologies as a whole. Page has an extensive background in technology start-ups, including development, marketing, recruiting, capital financing and executive management. Page first became known as a technology visionary in the automotive industry for combining data mining and predictive modeling with geographic information systems. Page was the founder of Impact Solutions, Inc., a Silicon Valley based company he formed to provide state-of-the-art customer acquisition and retention solutions to the automotive industry. Page reorganized Impact Solutions and formed e-autobusiness, the pioneer in the development of a web-based CRM solution that provided services to well over 900 dealerships throughout the United States before being acquired. Page went on to author several patents based on geospatial technology including the methods for capturing, recording and displaying the precise location of buried utilities and in 2014 founded ProStar Geocorp. In 2016 the Colorado Technology Association named him Entrepreneur of the Year for his efforts and innovations in developing Geospatial Intelligence Software. Today, Page continues to serve as the company’s CEO and President.
GEOFF ZEISS
Principal, Between the Poles
Geoff tracks the contribution of geospatial technology to the digitalization of the construction and energy industries on his Between The Poles blog and other media. His area of special focus is locating, mapping and sharing information about underground utility infrastructure. For ten years Geoff was responsible for thought leadership, evangelization, and industry messaging for the utility industry program at Autodesk. In recognition of his efforts to increase the awareness of geospatial data and technologies in utilities and construction, Geoff received the Geospatial Ambassador Award at Geospatial World Forum 2014 in Geneva, Switzerland. He is a Member of the National Underground Asset Registry Advisory Group of the Geospatial Commission, Cabinet Office, in the U.K. He contributed to the founding of the Open Source Geospatial Foundation in 2005/2006. He actively supports open standards as a director of the Open Geospatial Consortium.
